3. mBoB

Paying TashiCell postpaid and internet leased line bill just got easier. Now our valued customer can directly pay their bill through mBoB on a real time basis. To avail this service you need to be registered with mBoB service with Bank of Bhutan Ltd.

4. mPAY

Paying TashiCell postpaid and internet leased line bill just got easier. Now our valued customer can directly pay their bill through mPAY on a real time basis. To avail this service you need to be registered with mPAY service with Bank National Bhutan Ltd.

Recharge talk time and activate data plans

Now TashiCell Subscribers can recharge talk time and activate data plans from anywhere, anytime, to any TashiCell Prepaid Number through T Pay, Mpay & MBoB Mobile app.

  • Customers can directly subscribe or activate desired data plan. For example: To subscribe Daza plan you just need recharge Nu: 99 from any of the banking apps mentioned above and your daza plan will be activated. Likewise you can also activate various other data plans.
  • Customers can recharge minimum of Nu 10 & Maximum up to Nu 1500 through mobile banking app

Q. What will happen if you pay excess amount on the actual billed amount?

If you have paid excess amount, that excess amount that you have paid will be adjusted in your next month’s bill.

Q. Can I apply for refund of excess payment?


You can apply for the refund of excess payment only under these certain conditions:
  • You have to apply for refund within a week after transaction is done.
  • For TashiCell Postpaid Service you can apply for refund only if your excess payment is Nu 1000 or more
  • For TashiCell Internet leased line Service you can apply for refund only if your excess payment is Nu 3000 or more.
Post paid

Example: if your actual Postpaid bill is Nu: 1000 and if you have paid Nu 3000 then you can apply for refund for excess payment of Nu 2000. But if you have paid only Nu 1500 then you can’t apply for refund because your excess payment is only Nu 500 and it will get adjusted to next month’s bill. The minimum excess payment has to be Nu 1000 or more to apply for refund.

Internet Leased Line

Example: if your actual internet leased line bill is Nu: 6000 and if you have paid Nu 9000 then you can apply for refund for excess payment of Nu 3000. But if you have paid only Nu 7000 then you can’t apply for refund because your excess payment is only Nu 1000 and it will get adjusted to next month’s bill. The minimum excess payment has to be Nu 3000 or more to apply for refund.

However even if you don’t apply for refund your excess payment will be adjusted in your next months bill.
**The above condition are also application for amount wrongly entered by customers

Q. Whom do I approach to process my refund of excess amount?

Once you are eligible for refund you can approach either parties the Banks or TICL. The concern will take up the issue and begin with the necessary process for refund.
