This is to inform our toll free customers that Tashi InfoComm Limited (TICL) had revised the price of Toll-free service for the clients having the backend number of Bhutan Telecom back in 2018. But due to the nature of our billing being manual we weren’t able to implement the revised price to our old customers. Back then the revised price was implemented only for the new customers.

However, with the recent upgrade in our billing system, we are mandated to make all toll-free service bills automated and system generated. In this regard, TICL would be uniformly applying the revised toll-free prices from 2022. The revised for toll- free service with BT’s backend number is given below.

One of the main reasons for this price revision was interconnect charges settlement between telecoms. If the customer is using BT’s backend number TICL, have to pay interconnect charges to BT for every call that lands on that toll-free number and vice versa.

Toll free rental of Nu 3000 shall cover up to 1500 minutes any minutes exceeding 1500 up to 3000 shall be charged at rate of Nu 1.5 per minute in addition to Nu.3000 and any minutes exceeding 3000 shall be charged at Nu 1 per minutes in addition to Nu.3000 + Nu. 2250.
